A message from Mr. Maguire:
Hello parents and students! For the month of January we are continuing to work on our spelling words in addition to our math. Also, we are finsinshing up "Wonder" by R.J. Palacio, and the students will have a take home project related to this, due 1/26/2024. Additionally, we are walking to the Tuxedo Park Public Library on 1/23/2024, if you would like chaperone, please email me. As always, you can find this information on the class calendar as well. Class Rules and Expectations
On the first day of school, I asked the students what kind of behavior I should expect to see from them. I wrote these down, and every student signed the paper because it is a contract based on how they behave. Here is what they came up with: The students will be respectful, kind, interested, and they will ask questions, raise their hand, use inside voices, follow directions, have a positive attitude, and complete their homework on time.
